Established in 2021, Elite Group IT was formed after Isle of Man companies, Elite Group IOM and IT Works, merged together. Joining Elite’s leading business fibre and hosted voice services with IT Works’ premier IT support and hosted desktop offering, Elite Group IT combines the very best of the island’s IT and telecoms into one provider.
Why Elite Group IOM Merged with IT Works
Merging Elite Group IOM with IT Works seemed like the next logical step for the business. Mergers and acquisitions have always been a part of my growth strategy. Whilst we usually prefer acquisitions, in the case of IT Works, we knew a merger would bring greater value to both the business and our clients.
IT Works had a sterling reputation on the island, as well as vast IT expertise, particularly when it came to hosted desktops and support services. We’ve worked together before and we knew it made sense to merge the capabilities of both companies. This would not only benefit both businesses but also provide added value to the island’s IT space, allowing our clients to benefit from an expanded product range, wider skillset and greater business expertise.
The Future of Elite Group IT
As a result of the merger, the future of Elite Group IT is looking bright. The IT Works and Elite teams have moved into one building and we’re confident that the new Elite Group IT team will continue to provide expert services and excellent customer service.
