Founded in 1996, Churchill Support Services started as a small local security company with a simple mission: to provide reliable, professional security services that clients could genuinely trust. In those early days, it was about showing up, doing the job well, and building relationships one client at a time. Over the years, through the hard work of our dedicated teams and a commitment to doing the right thing for our clients, Churchill Support Services grew into an industry-leading name, trusted by businesses across the U K for security guarding, CCTV, mobile patrols, and more. We built a reputation for delivering high-quality, responsive services while caring for the people behind the uniform, which became the foundation of everything we did.
After more than three decades of building this business alongside dedicated people who cared deeply about our clients, it was time for a new chapter. I am proud to share that Churchill Support Services has rebranded as ProFM Group.
This rebrand was not just about a new name or a new logo; it was about recognising who we had become, and where we were going.
When Churchill Support Services was founded, our focus was on delivering reliable, professional security services. Over time, it became clear that the needs of our clients were changing. They wanted simplicity, consistency, and a trusted partner who could manage not just security, but all the services that keep their sites running safely and effectively.
Facilities management has become a vital part of how organisations operate, impacting everything from sustainability and compliance to employee wellbeing and productivity. Recognising this shift, we made it our mission to evolve alongside our clients.
That’s why we expanded into cleaning services with the acquisition of Vanguard Cleaning Management Solutions in 2023, bringing the same high standards and reliability to a new area of service. We then enhanced our technology capabilities with the acquisition of Sonitech Systems, allowing us to deliver advanced security technology and integrated site management solutions.
These were not opportunistic moves but strategic decisions to build a business that offers a fully integrated, professional facilities management service, reflecting the changing needs of the clients we were proud to serve.
ProFM stands for Professional Facilities Management, a clear reflection of the evolution of our services and the high standards we set for ourselves. This rebrand unites our cleaning, security, and technology offerings under one aligned identity, making it easier for clients to access the full breadth of our expertise.
For our clients, nothing has changed in terms of the high-quality, responsive service they have come to expect from us. The only visible differences are updated signage and branding as we transitioned, while teams, points of contact, and service delivery remained the same.
Security and facilities management has changed significantly since founded in 1996. Clients no longer need siloed, reactive services; they expect integrated, technology-led solutions that supported safe, clean, and productive environments for their people and visitors.
Security has moved beyond manned guarding and CCTV to include advanced technology and proactive risk management. Facilities management evolved from a background function to a critical driver of operational excellence, sustainability, and employee wellbeing.
We recognised that to continue providing the best for our clients, we needed to evolve too. The rebrand to ProFM Group was our commitment to ensuring we continued to lead, innovate, and adapt to the changing needs of the businesses we served.
