About Elite Group

Founded in 2000, Elite Group has since grown into one of the UK’s leading providers of communications and IT services, supplying businesses across the UK with the tech they need to survive and thrive in a modern market. The company motto is ‘Leading in Technology’ which reflects the growing and essential role that technology plays in business productivity and growth.

I started Elite group with the bigger end goal in mind.

Why I Founded Elite Group

I started Elite in 2000, it was a year or two in the making. Someone once said to me if you want to be a millionaire you need to be able to sing or write a best selling book so then you’re granted royalties for life. Royalties? I asked. Residual income was the reply; doing a deal or selling a product or service and then making money from it from thereon.

I discovered phone numbers and call statistics and positioned it so we could give any sector with call centres, a memorable freephone number along with a monthly fee for our unique call statistics software package. We still receive money from those calls today, as well as a monthly income for the software. As tech has developed, we’ve also added other products and services to our portfolio, fr example our carbon neutral hosted voice products, carbon-reducing cloud services, SaaS, mobile solutions etc.

Since 2000, Elite group has grown into a full IT and unified communications company.

How Elite Group has Grown

Since its inception in 2000, Elite Group has grown into a fully-fledged IT and unified communications company. This growth was achieved through organic means but also via acquisitions. Elite Group has undertaken 17 acquisitions, including both asset purchase and share purchase deals and has a dedicated acquisitions team committed to finding and bringing on board the very best IT and Unified Communications businesses.

In the early days Elite acquired solely for growth, so a contracted customer base was key. Whilst contracted customers and contracted recurring revenue remain critical, we now opt for more strategic acquisitions. Products, services and skillsets which complement the current portfolio and strengthening our proposition for our own customer base are equally important.  Strong management teams and technical minds were also vital, along with strongly performing sales teams.

As elite group grows so does the elite brand, allowing us to expand.
