As an entrepreneur and businessman, I’m always on the look out for the next big investment opportunity in the digital and technology sector.

E-Sign is a prime example of one of these investments. Founded in 2013 in Liverpool, E-Sign supplies electronic signatures and digital document management solutions to businesses in both the public and private sector.

I always admire a company that solves a problem and E-Sign ensures that businesses are no longer held back by paper-based processes, offering a time-saving and accessible digital alternative. I saw the huge potential in the business and, as always, was keen to support technology that would open up the rapidly expanding electronic signatures sector here in the UK.

 

In addition to this, I also admired the vision of MD, Tom Taylor, who was looking to shake up the UK market, taking on established US-based competitors in the process. That’s ultimately why I decided to invest £400k in the company.

The business was looking for investments to support their growth and development in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market.  The market was still tough for young businesses at the time and it was good we could work with Thomas and his dynamic team to enable the next phase of their growth. My investment ultimately provided them with the capital they needed to expand their business in the right direction

Indeed, E-Sign has managed to expand its online presence and increase its search ranking with the digital team on the case, which is vital for directing potential customers to the company website and generating new leads and sales.

The team at E-Sign are highly ambitious and are always looking to provide the best possible product and service to their customers. I’m proud to be a part of this amazing company and have enjoyed watching them grow and develop over the past two years.  I’m definitely excited to see how they progress in the future and will always be on hand to offer advice or support if needed.
